Story of the Sunday Sun

Last weekend I was lucky enough to be in Iceland. It is a country that has long fascinated me so I was really excited about the trip. So many parts of it were amazing but what stood out when I went through my photos was the sun. I was totally taken aback by the glory of it. It rose late, stayed low and large and set early. We got about 5 1/2 hours of daylight. This weekend they'll get about 5 - it changes by about half an hour a week all the year round.

So, in honour of Sunday, I am leaving you with some of my favourite "sun" pics from last Sunday:
